! Important Electrical Instruction
Warning!
Use of a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) or RCD (Residual Current Machine) equipped wall outlet with this machine is essential. All premises must be equipped with such protective switches according to local codes and standards. Use of any appliance with a large motor or high-current draw may result in tripping the premises' circuit breaker, particularly if overloading or electrical shorting occurs.
When using this machine, ensure the power cord is not caught underneath the machine and is away from any moving part of the machine including the resistance ropes, handles and transport wheels.
NEVER remove any cover without first disconnecting AC power. If voltage varies by ten percent (10%) or more, the performance of your machine may be affected. Such conditions are not covered under your warranty. If you suspect the voltage is low at your premises, contact your local power company or a licensed electrician for proper testing.
NEVER expose this machine to moisture, rain or water. This machine is NOT designed for use outdoors, near a pool or spa, or in any other wet or high humidity environment. The specified operating temperature range is 41 to 86°F (5 to 30°C) and humidity is 95% non-condensing (no water drops forming on surfaces).
Circuit Breakers: Some circuit breakers used in facilities or homes are not rated for drawing high currents that can occur when some fitness machines are first turned on or even during use.
If your machine is tripping the premises' main circuit breaker (even through it is the proper current rating) but the circuit breaker on the machine itself does not trip, the circuit breaker may need to be replaced with a high-current type.
This is not a warranty defect. This is a condition that Vitruvian is not liable for and which is your sole responsibility to ensure it is safely and properly addressed. Circuit-breakers must be installed by licensed electricians according to local codes and standards. The electrical outlet used must have a dedicated 20 Amp circuit breaker.
